A prototype for “Late Summer Splendour” - a small edition of 25 issued in 1998. A sculptural, hour-glass shaped weight with a polished front facet giving a view onto a lampwork red flower and bud, ears of grain and green and brown foliage. An amber flash at the top of the weight (which is otherwise clear), lends a feeling of an “Indian Summer” to the design. The weight is enhanced by the decorative fluted cutting.
