Carousel

A Carousel design, probably made in the 1930s when both Salvador & Paul Ysart were working at Moncrieff. 6 green, lavender, orange & aventurine twists radiate out from a stem & central bubble over an opaque teal ground which has a “textured” dark-green area around the stem. The pale-blue & yellow/black millefiori canes in the border garland are separated by pink-flashed latticinio spokes.
Greyish tint to the glass; fire-polished base; unfinished pontil.
For a similar example (attributed to Paul Ysart) see L.H. Selman Auction Catalogue Spring 2003, Lot 159.
