From a central 6 cane cluster radial latticinio twists divide the blue-textured ground into 8 panels, each containing a large cane plus 2 complex perimeter canes. An interesting cane study for an Ysart/Vasart collector - because, apart from the pairs of perimeter canes (which are the same) there is only one other cane which occurs twice: the large pale-blue tube with a red centre ! Dark grey tinge to the glass. The flat base is fire polished with the pontil mark lightly ground out. (Most likely a weight dating from the Ysart Brothers period 1946-1955).
