Encirling the millefiori centre cane - a cluster of tubes & crimps - are 6 rings of complex and simple cog & star canes. The overall tonality is blue (in various shades) relieved by hints of green, white and red. Pink & white torsades decorate the top and bottom of the white latticinio pedestal. An SL 1954 signature/date cane is at 9 o'clock in the 3rd row from the centre. Only a limited number of these piedouche weights were produced between 1953 and 1954.
