Montessa 1/1 (2013)

A large white rose - surrounded by 5 gold-bronze roses - centres the design. Semi-circles of complex white, pale-blue & pale-pink millefiori canes enclose 5 further white roses. Complex rings of pale-lilac, ochre & dark-blue tubes around a white floret make up the 5 millefiori “spokes” radiating out from the centre. The border garland uses a slightly larger version of the canes around the white roses. The underlay is a translucent blue cushion set on a bed of blue-lined, white star-shaped staves.
Signed with an “MH” cane in the flat polished base. Scratch-signed M Hunter, Twists 13; inscribed “Montessa” and 1 of 1.
