Periwinkles - Ed. 50 (1994)

A delightful floral arrangement by Margot Thomson. Set in clear crystal are 3 purple periwinkles between pairs of green leaves. Encircling the lampwork is a garland of pale-lilac, white & slate-blue millefiori canes. The design is enhanced by the faceting: a small circular top window, 8 circular side facets and 16 notch cuts, which start at the centre of the base and rise roughly a third of the way into the dome.
Apart from the White Friar cane the weight is unsigned. It is, however, scratch-numbered on one of the notch cuts 21/50.
