A novelty paperweight - a collaborative piece by lampwork artist Allan Scott (who made the fish) and Helen MacDonald, who engraved the aquamarine-flashed, frosted surface of the spherical “goldfish bowl” with reeds and aquatic plants. Cut with a circular top window and a front facet, the weight is signed by both artists on the polished, flat base and inscribed and numbered: Small World Caithness Scotland 5-75.
