Twist Fountain

Unlike the usual fountain weights with their solid coloured rods, this one has pale-pink filigree threads enhanced with copper aventurine which rise up to a centre bubble before dividing into 6 arms. Each arm has an elongated bubble attached to it just above the point where it touches the blue jasper ground, which is covered in numerous multi-coloured spirals like a Harlequin weight.
The weight is unsigned. Flat, polished base. Harland/Highland period - 1970s.
