A magnum complex patterned weight with millefiori canes covering most of the mottled amber cushion, which rises well into the dome. The arrangement in the centre includes simple yellow/orange cogs encircled by complex canes and tan/yellow cogs forming short spokes. Between the spokes are complex mauve/coffee/white/yellow canes. The border garland is composed of 5 clusters - each containing 5 blue, green & multi-coloured canes - separated by 5 circles of yellowish-orange upright rods centred by green/white hollow tubes. The fire-polished, slightly concave base has a rough pontil. The glass has a brownish tint and the weight can be attributed to the pre-1940 Moncrieff period.
