A low-domed weight with a neatly-set design in subdued colours over a semi-translucent pale-amethyst ground. Fine latticinio twists separate the millefiori canes. Encircling the white/yellow centre cog cane is a row of complexpale-blue/white millefiori canesaround a lavender rod. The intricate composite canes in the next row each contain approx. 20 tiny colourful rods, cogs, stars and tubes - while ivory/white star canes form a border garland. Perhaps the weight was originally a door handle - or maybe because the base was uneven - it has been polished flat.
