The first in the series of Christmas weights. It was also the first weight to be produced using mosaic picture canes - in this case a central pink & blue angel on a white ground surrounded first by a circle of blue rods - incorporating the 1975 signature/date cane - and then a further circle of 11 angels. The design is enclosed in a green, white & pink multi-cane garland over an opaque black ground. Cut with a top window and 5 side facets. Typical Whitefriars base scratch-numbered 745. An original factory label is affixed to one of the facets. (Includes original numbered certificate).
