1972 Mid-size Patterned

A rare mid-size Whitefriars weight: unusual pattern, unusual canes - maybe a trial or protype? Set over clear ground, the predominant colours are yellow & emerald green. The centre cluster consists of a lilac & white cane encircled by a ring of brown, white & emerald canes followed by a ring of royal blue & white star canes. Between the yellow cogs are green & lilac star canes. 5 +1 faceting.
Signed with an early white/blue 1972 date cane - at ca. 9 o’clock in the main image. Typical Whitefriars base with a groove between the set-up and encasing crystal.
