A great weight, a novel idea - meticulously executed!
A white marguerite with multi-layered petals and a yellowish-brown centre floats above a ground of complex millefiori canes in various shades of green with a few scattered red & white stars. Modelled after the time-honoured pastime of pulling off petals while reciting “she loves me; she loves me not”, flame-sculpted white “petals” are heat-fixed to the outside of the encasing crystal and - finely engraved in the surface between them - are “words of love”: je t’aime, la folie, beaucoup passionnément etc. A 2002 signature/date cane is set in the concave, polished base along with the edition size and number (4/125).
