The series Les Poissons / The Fishes consisting of 5 designs was introduced in 1996/97. Known as “the lord of the coral reef”, Angel Fish like to hunt in pairs. The angel fish depicted in this design over a white opaque ground is extremely colourful with its blue & turquoise body and bright yellow fins. The weight is finished with a circular top facet. A blue/white SL 1997 signature/date cane is set in the white ground. Polished, concave base with a very faint acid-etched St Louis stamp.
