1988 Bouquet on Blue (Ed. 100)

This is a rarer version of the Flowers of Lorraine lampwork design (not illustrated in Gérard Ingold’s book on St. Louis “The Art of the Paperweight”), but also issued in 1988. The bouquet - composed of similar blue, white, pink & yellow lampwork flowers - is set over a blue ground rather than a white ground. Completing the arrangement are bluish-green leaves with 2 bright-green & white leaves at the base of the stems.
Signed with a tiny blue/red SL1988 date cane amongst the leaves at the very edge of the design.
