A medium-sized “fountain” weight - sometimes known as Aladdin's Cave - with scattered polychrome canes and cane chips carpeting the top of a translucent orange ground. A second millefiori canopy - creased into four quarters - rises from the center of the carpet and is pinned at the corners to the lower level. Each depression is marked with a bubble. Flat, fire-polished base with a concavity in the centre where the pontil mark has been removed. Unsigned. (This weight was only made 1969-1971 and was not exported)
