A 3-tiered weight with 37 canes - including 8 silhouettes & 10 colourful picture canes - on muslin. The top level has 3 silhouettes and 3 picture canes plus 5 composite millefiori canes. Level 2 has 7 colourful canes encircled by 3 silhouettes and 3 picture canes. Level 3 has the same set-up but with 2 silhouettes and 4 picture canes. There is no signature or date cane but it is undeniably from Perthshire. According to Peter McDougall (who worked at Perthshire at the time) few were made - probably only 3 or 4 in the early 80s - because it took 5 men to make one weight; much too costly an undertaking for a large edition. Polished concave base with basal rim.
