A variation of the regular design, which is signed with a “P” cane in the centre, whereas this one is centred by a complex millefiori cane. 2 interlaced garlands - composed of white & pale-pink canes - form loops around 6 coloured picture canes (thistle, bluebells, robin, red flower, rooster and a strawberry). The design is set over an opaque blue colour ground with a blue-on-white double overlay which is cut with a round top window, 6 large and 6 smaller side facets. A P1978 signature/date cane is embedded in the polished, concave underside. (Although planned as a 250 edition, only 119 were issued).
