The prototype for a new, larger closepack with approx. 50 simple and complex millefiori canes enclosed in a ring of alternating pale-pink and pale-blue cog canes, which are drawn underneath the canes to form a basket. As far as we know, it never went into production and remained a “one-off”. A PMcD signature cane is placed just inside the basket at 7 o’clock in the first picture. Polished, concave base.
