The clear glass encloses a bright-red butterfly over a blue jasper ground, enhanced by the fancy cutting...a top facet, 8 sloping side facets and 8 upright facets. According to the artist, this was one of the first weightshe made when he was working with Paul Ysart. Script-signed across the flat polished base: William Manson 1971 Harland.
