Parrot Ed 150 (1988)
A lampwork design produced while the artist was working at Caithness Glass - a parrot perched on a bamboo stalk, balancing himself with his long tail feathers. Thanks to his vividly-coloured plummage - yellow breast, green wings, black & white throat and scarlet beak - he stands out against the brown bamboo, green foliage and the translucent blue colour ground.
The weight is cut with a circular top window and 6 oval side facets. Acid-etched on the polished concave base: Caithness Parrot Scotland and numbered 102/150.
