Elizabeth of Glamis Ed. 100 (2000)

At the lower end of a stem bearing numerous veined green leaves and 2 buds about to open is a single salmon rose in full bloom . The “Elizabeth of Glamis” rose was named after HM Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, whose ancestral family seat was Glamis castle. This weight commemorated her 100th birthday in the year 2000. The intricately-faceted weight has a concave top window, 6 large side facets and 6 smaller facets above the base, which is finished with a 24-point starcut.
Signed with a WM cane at the base of the stem. The blue flash around the bottom of the dome and the basal rim is scratch-signed, dated and numbered: William Manson Snr. 2000 Elizabeth of Glamis 22/100.
