Xanthia 1/1 (2011)

A design - set around a tiny black butterfly silhouette - which combines the wonderful tones and complexity of the millefiori canes with the simplicity and clear lines of a row of stylized white & green Japanese anemones. The canes are set on a translucent emerald-green cushion over a ground of hollow white star-shaped staves.
Signed with an MH cane in the base; also scratch-signed: M Hunter Twists 11 1/1 with the inscription “Xanthia”.
