The complex centre features a blue rose surrounded by green & white crimps and lavender stars. Apart from this colourful centre cluster, the overall tonality is white and light-grey. The large, spaced white stars - like exploding fireworks above the mottled, translucent amber ground - give the paperweight its impact. Short white radiating staves form the polished, flat base. Signed with an MH cane in the centre of the base and scratch-signed: M Hunter Twists 08 1/1.
