Bouquet on Burgundy Ground (2007)

2 flowers in full bloom - one in pale blue, the other in lavender - plus a pink bud and green foliage set on a rich burgundy ground - the image doesn’t do it justice, the red really is a deep wine-red ! The colour ground copies the Clichy method of using a white underlay to give the colour ground its glowing tone.
A JHD 2007 signature/date cane is set in the underside of the colour ground. Polished, concave base.
