Royal Birthday Bouquet - Ed. 90 (1990)

A limited edition issued in 1990 featuring a 9-flower bouquet - created by lampwork artist Allan Scott - to commemorate the 90th birthday of H.M. Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. 4 flowers have millefiori cane “stamen” - and the deep-pink centre flower bears the numerals 9 0. The bouquet is completed by 5 buds and 4 green leaves with serrated edges. The blue flash overlay is cut with a circular top facet and 10 oval side facets arranged in 2 rows. The base has a 16-point star-cut.
One side facet is inscribed: Caithness, Scotland, Royal Birthday Bouquet, numbered 70-90 and scratch-signed: Allan Scott.
