Nosegay - Ed. 250 (1986)
An early design from the Whitefriars Collection by Allan Scott. Growing from a tuft of green leaves over a 36-point star-cut base are pale-green stems supporting 2 lampwork flowers, 2 blue buds and 4 green leaves. One flower has pale-lilac upper petals and pale-blue lower petals; the other flower has pure white petals around a green honeycomb stamen with pale-yellow pistils. This example has been finished with 8 notch cuts in a circular top window plus 8 small oval facets on the sides.
Inscribed around the edge of the star-cut base: Nosegay Caithness Scotland 22/250 and signed: Allan Scott.
(Intended as a limited edition of 250, in fact only 151 were made)
