Atop an upright stem is a large flowerhead composed of deep-pink & white petals set around a 2000 date cane - an unusual feature in a Caithness paperweight. Further stems bear 4 pink & white buds. The lampwork flower is enclosed within a garland of pale-lilac/white millefiori canes over a translucent cobalt-blue colour ground. The weight is finished with a circular top facet and 6 circular side facets.
Scratch-signed and numbered on the flat, polished base: Millennium Dahlia, Caithness, Scotland, 24-75.
