A marine environment from Cathy’s "Ocean" series. A pale-brown, speckled octopus is resting on the sea bed almost concealed by the colourful coral around him - including pink/white gorgonian (or sea fan) coral, blue-tipped coral and orange & yellow tube sponges. Swimming overhead are 3 bright-scarlet tropical fish. Signed, dated and numbered around the middle of the weight: Cathy Richardson 2013 OGC 009. Polished, concave base.
