The pink cockatoo with its orange crest, pale-pink plumage fading to white at the tips of its wings and yellow tail feathers is, possibly, the most beautiful of the 17 or so species of cockatoo. This one -set over clear ground - has a small black beak and is depicted perched on a branch, which bears a white/yellow orchid and 2 green leaves.
Scratch-signed around the side: Ayotte M-26 ‘87. Flat, polished base.
