Scrambled with Millefiori Canes

A mid-19th century scrambled - possibly by Pietro Bigaglia - with pink & white filigree rods, aventurine inclusions and coloured twists. Strewn around the cushion are ca. 20 millefiori canes: blue/white cogs with brick-red markings. A couple of others are similar: one has an aquamarine coating, the other a brick-red coating. There are two small black & white canes, which could possibly be distorted silhouettes. The attribution is based on pictures sent by an Italian collector of a signed & dated weight (PoB 1845) which contains the same type of canes !!
The profile is slightly conical and the surface somewhat uneven. The pontil in the relatively deep basal concavity has been lightly ground.
