A miniature weight, attributed to a Silesian glassworks, with a 2-tier basket (white latticinio threads around yellow filigree) supporting 2 rows of millefiori canes around a white/aquamarine “flower-like” centre cane, with a yellow/pale-orange cruciform “pistil”. The overall tonality - pale-orange, pale-green, salmon and yellow - is more subtle than usually seen in these post-classic weights. Both rows have alternating canes. In the outer row, the glassmaker used 4 types of canes - including a “rogue” pink/white cog cane! Flat, lightly-ground base.
