Complex Millefiori

This 2-ring concentric, featuring well-made millefiori canes, most likely came from one of the Silesian glassworks. Cobalt-blue, white & amber are the predominant colours in the complex millefiori canes, which float above a thin polychrome frit ground. The blue & white canes are extremely complex with eight tiny 5-lobed stars set in white around a larger version of the same pink/white star - all enclosed in a cobalt-blue corrugated collar.
The weight has the characteristic flattish dome. The flat base is lightly-ground and shows signs of wear. The glass has a faint purplish tint.
