Miniature Cluster

A 7-cane miniature cluster with 4 different types of complex millefiori canes in shades of blue, green and white with just a hint of red. Considering the short time the factory was in existence, it must have employed a number of experienced glassmakers to have been able to produce the complex canes found in its weights. The red centres in the 2 white/blue canes are layered concentric tubes (see Fig. 6 in Philippe Frère’s “Grenelle Paperweight Review” in the PCA Annual Bulletin 2012); the blue, white & red centre cane is also to be found in Fig. 30 of the same article.
