A scrambled weight with a large pink & green rose - and a hidden surprise ! The underside contains virtually all WHOLE canes including not just one but TWO of the rarest type of Clichy signature canes - the blue “C” without serifs, at the centre of 2 complex canes adjacent to one another. (See Andrew Dohan’s DVD “Dictionary of Paperweight Signature Canes”; Clichy “C” canes No 4 & 10, pages 134 & 135). There are also 3 turquoise C-type canes which just happen to look like a "C", rather than being genuine signature canes. Considering how few Clichy weights are actually signed, 2 “C” canes - even on the underside - must count for something ! Polished, concave base with good size wear rim.
