A single flowerhead with two layers of pointed pink petals - the petals in the upper layer have a hint of blue - around a central pink & white cog cane stamen. The bloom nestles against five blueish/green serrated leaves over a rare alternating pink & white spiral filigree basket. Polished base with deep basal concavity.
This scrambled weight - made ca. 1860/70 - with its predominantly white tones - has a complete 1852 date cane with 3 white running rabbit silhouettes on a blue/black field within a 10-point crimped cog cane. A scrambled weight - probably made ca. 1860/70 - which displays the overall white tonality associated with B&S, relieved by coloured ribbons and whole and partial millefiori canes.
