Pink Double Clematis
A lampwork double clematis - with 10 ribbed pink petals around a cream-coloured millefiori “stamen”. The short curving stem bears 4 green leaves. A continuous border garland of alternating pale-blue/white and dark-blue/white complex millefiori canes encircles the flower which is set over an unusual translucent olive-green ground.
Flat, polished base. The style of the flower and canes - and the base colour - would indicate the 1960s Caithness period.
