Only a limited number of these piedouche weights were produced between 1953 and 1954.
Encirling the centre cane - a cluster of blue and green tubes & crimps - are 6 rings of millefiori canes including complex canes and simple cog & star canes. An SL 1954 signature/date cane is incorporated in the 3rd row from the centre.
The overall tonality is blue (in various shades) relieved by hints of green, white and red.
Pink and white torsades decorate the top and bottom of the white double-swirl latticinio pedestal.
