A fine lampwork design enhanced by the beautifully faceted cylindrical form. A 2-layer bouquet with pale-pink & white and pale-lilac & purple flowers amongst variegated greyish-green foliage over a 32-point star-cut base.
A small circular window on the flat top; 12 oval facets and 12 vertical flutes on the side with brick cuts around the base.
“A” and “S” signature canes at the end of the stalks acknowledge Allan’s lampwork and Shona Spittal’s work in encasing it. Scratch-signed, inscribed and dated above the basal rim.
The faceting is the work of Gordon Taylor.
