Short lengths of white latticinio cable form the cushion for 12 colourful millefiori canes spaced in two rings around a centre cane incorporating a P 1980 signature and date. The 4 silhouettes - or rather, 2 silhouettes and 2 picture canes - include a rare polar bear on a blue background, a blue sailing ship on a white background, a very colourful rooster and what looks like a long-haired poodle! All 4 silhouettes are set in complex canes.
Polished, concave base.
