Helen MacDonald’s whimsical interpretation of Fairy Land - the “home to pixies, elves, sprites and kelpies”. A domed weight with a long, sloping front facet giving a view onto the red & white caps of 3 toadstools on a grassy mound. Engraved around the blue-flashed, frosted back and sides are large flowers, leaves and stalks.
The flat, polished base is scratch-inscribed: FAIRY LAND Caithness Scotland, numbered 5-100 and scratch-signed: Helen MacDonald.
