The clear crystal set with the flower most often associated with this artist - a dahlia. The flower - in full bloom - has 6 overlapping layers of pointed, shaded-mauve petals centred by fine yellow anthers. Surrounding the flower are the tips of dark-green leaves. On the underside of one of them is a small, blue/white DT signature cane.
A wide basal rim surrounds the deep central concavity of the base, which is decorated with a 16-point star-cut.
This was one of 3 or 4 similar designs, made ca. 1988/1990.
