Tarsitano, Debbie

Debbie Tarsitano - a fine lampwork artist who also makes her own complex millefiori canes - set up her first studio, together with her father Delmo, in the mid 1970s. After her father died in 1991, she moved her studio to Massachusetts. Nowadays, she produces only one or two major pieces a month, along with a couple of smaller weights. Her designs are generally “one of a kind”, with the exception of her “signature” weight - the dahlia - and even that varies considerably in design, complexity and colour. Both Debbie and her father, Delmo, have used various DT signature canes over the years.
