Auction Catalogues
Auction Catalogues are a useful addition to any paperweight collector’s “library” of reference literature, especially for providing information on the provenance of weights. Obviously catalogues with colour illustrations are more useful, but all illustrations are a good way of studying canes or getting to know the different designs associated with the various makers better. It is also handy to have a copy of the "Prices Realized" for each auction. They provide an interesting insight as to how prices have fluctuated over the years.
