19th Cent. Scrambled

Pieces of ribbon and twists in red-and-white, green-and-white and blue-and-white together with fine and coarser latticinio and aventurine inclusions almost completely fill this low-domed weight. The base has a typical broken pontil mark and wear to the basal ring. Under a magnifying glass, the glass shows the “sugariness” often seen in weights of this type, which is not apparent on normal viewing.
