An excellent example of a neatly-set German weight - possibly of Silesian origin - with well made complex canes on a predominantly yellow & white spatter base. Encircling the centre cluster of pink-and-white corrugated tubes are ca.25 upright yellow rods. These upright rods are repeated in the 3 canes with red & white striped collars in the first ring, which alternate with complex blue & white corrugated canes. In the border garland, the white corrugated canes enclose 10 blue & white star canes; the red & white canes have 5-lobed white, blue and yellow centres.
The dome displays the typical low profile; the flat, lightly-ground base shows signs of wear commensurate with its age.
