Rare Lampwork Insect

A rare example of a post-classic lampwork dragonfly (or moth) - probably from a glassworks in Thuringia.
The body is dark olive-green with black markings curling around it; while the wings appear to be pink with black or dark-blue markings - it’s difficult to tell due to the strong purple (manganese) tint to the dome. The insect is fluttering over a ground of partial canes and spatter encircled by a garland of variously-coloured canes.
Unfortunately, the weight has an annealing crack running from the pink cane on the left-hand side to the 2nd pink cane on the right, although it doesn’t reach as far as the surface. However these weights are so rare - with only ca. 12 documented - that for the true collector it’s an interesting opportunity. (The fault is reflected in the price)

Flat, lightly-polished base.
