4 different types of millefiori canes - set on a base of multi-coloured cane fragments - were used to make this 2-row concentric, attributed to a Thuringian glassworks. At the centre is a well made white floret containing a circle of pale-green/pink canes and centred by a blue star within a white-and-pink corrugated cane. The 6 cobalt-blue canes in the first row are filled with fine yellow rods, while the outer row is composed of alternating pink and bright-green cog canes, which contain a rod and 5-pointed star.
Typical fairly flat dome, with sides sloping steeply to a small, lightly ground, flat base.
