Early Scrambled

The clue to the “early” lies in the blue cross on white found near the base and the cane slightly to the right above it: 8 blue-cross crimps around a blue and white floret. According to George Kulles in “Identifying Antique Paperweights” (Page 15), this cross is found in very early weights.
In addition, soft-hued twists and latticinio, copper and green aventurine inclusions, lime-green crimps, white and amber hollow tubes and rods - and a couple of whole canes - make this a most attractive, small scrambled weight.
