Another of those well made, magnum-size 19th Century Old English weights, which is difficult to attribute to any particular glassworks. 6 rings of ruffle and cog canes in an attractive colour combination - pink, ruby, blue, aqua & white - are neatly set around a central dark-green and white ruffle/cog cane. Slightly off-centre...with some striation and a couple of bits of cullet in the dome. The cushion rises almost halfway into the dome.
A “foot” runs around the weight at the base, which is slightly uneven with a large unfinished pontil.
